1968 GTO convertible, solar red, parchment interior. Matching numbers motor,. no rust, no patches or crap rust repair on this car anywhere. Very clean original body panels, trunk, floors, rockers and fenders. What was done during restoration: Body removed from frame. There was not a lot of body work needed, all metal work done to the highest level. No short cuts, clean body and frame.New body bushings, front and rear suspension (complete), brakes front and rear, brake lines, springs, gas tank, gas lines, New upper and lower ball joints, control arms and bushings, front and rear springs, steering rack, steering box, tie rod ends, pitman arm, idlers, brakes calipers and rotors, spindles, bearings front and rear, both u joints, front and rear sway bars, rear boxed control arms and bushings. New hideaway headlight actuators, vacuum lines and tank. 336 rear axle rebuilt, Stainless steel exhaust system front to back with new manifolds and drop downs, new top and glass rear window, transmission rebuilt with shift kit, new transmission cooling lines, kick down switch and shifting linkage, New shift cable and rebuilt original dual gate shifter, All bulbs and lighting is present and works as well as all lockouts and safety switches on shifter, New 4 core radiator. new motor mounts. Motor rebuilt with high compression pistons, nice cam, Flame Thrower III high energy electronic ignition system with billet distributor, Flame thrower 3 coil, heads redone with new valves and springs, Motor was dynoed at 400hp@4500 RPM, New window regulators, new engine harness, all new carpet, restored seats with new backs and kick panels, door panels, repaired clock, AM radio works, new dash pad, rebuilt dash cluster, New top of the line hood tach, Pretty much all new or restored parts. Restored rally 2's,, No aftermarket junk. mostly OEM and high end reproduction parts. I prefer to recondition and restore original parts rather than replace with junk. Taillight lenses and other smaller items were all replaced with the best replacements available. That said, the rear bumper could use a re chrome, The driver door has a slight paint defect and there are some small paint dimples here and there. But this car is amazing and looks incredible.
