YOU WILL NOT FIND A BETTER DEAL THAN THIS. This 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited is already one of a rare breed, having only been built for two years in this style. The extended wheelbase affords greater versatility both on and off the trail, enhancing stability, passenger and cargo space alike, while still offering the classic styling of a two door Jeep (from the generation of "the last 'real' Jeep."). I trust this Jeep with my life- it's been across the country with me and never left me stranded. I've even slept on the hardtop in the Arizona desert under the stars, and it defended me from the coyotes. You won't find a more faithful vehicle. As an added bonus, it also comes with an even more rare bespoke TARGA hardtop with SLIDING REAR WINDOWS, giving you both the thrill of open air and the convenience of a hardtop. This is not something you get out of a factory hardtop, making it a much coveted feature. You can literally go from hardtop to OPEN AIR cruising in 30 seconds. Additionally, it sits on a set of 20" Fuel Mavericks wearing 37" Nitto Trail Grapplers. All in all, THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS in extras were spent on this vehicle- all it really needs is a modest lift. The original tires can be included in the sale. Recent maintenance items include a new starter, new battery, new ignition pin and new U-Joints. This Jeep was intended to be a project for me, and so I have not driven it with the new tires. In fact, minus the tires and hardtop, as far as I know it is bone stock. I do believe that despite the minimal clearance, it will drive and turn if the plastic fender flares are removed. A modest lift will ensure this, and I have even considered adding a small body lift to street it. However, I am very motivated to sell and have listed it at no reserve.
