Vehicle Detail
A very nice driving rust free Florida car with no body damage and shiny paint. We have had for about 6 + years and maintained it well and replaced anything it ever needed. This is a RARE station wagon model, very few made and sold in the US/Canada. The only reason we are selling it is we have received the new car we ordered from the dealership and we have no use for this car anymore. All wheel drive; Grey metallic exterior; black leather interior' power sunroof' automatic transmission ; power steering; power brakes;, traction control; ABS; tilt steering wheel; cruise control; power seats; power windows; power door locks; fog lights; and a host of other typical Jaguar options. Yes, the A/C keeps the car ice cold here in tropical South Florida. Since we have owned the car we have replaced the following : brake pads and hoses including 4 rotors, 2 new catalytic converters and all O2 sensors,2 new front driveshafts, regular oil and filter changes, 6 new coil packs and platinum spark plugs, new alternator, new starter, new struts front and rear, air conditioner compressor and parts, cooling fan and module, new coolant tank and hoses and probably other things I can't recall. The mileage showing is 194,000 but may go up slightly if someone test drives the car or I take it for a car wash and interior clean before sale. The Jaguar sound system went out during our ownership, so a new cd player/ stereo with new speakers was installed along with a package shelf in it's place. Everything else in the car works as it should. The only quirk that does not affect anything at all -- the Jaguar gas cap was replaced 5 years or so ago when it cracked, with an aftermarket gas cap. Sometimes the check engine light pops on ( It has been checked dozens of times and the code is an ' evaporative emissions " which then blinks off) I usually have to tighten the gas cap more or take it off and put it back on. It does not affect the driving or performance of the car. 4 Goodyear Eagle tires were installed 2 years ago, and they are about at 50% tread life left. Other than that, the car has been used for highway driving going up north and down to Florida monthly since we had it, and we have put 100,000 miles of highway driving on the car. It runs well, drives great, does not leak or drip or smoke or burn anything that we can see. The body is rust free, the paint shines, there is no body damage ( there may be minor scratches from age or use but you would have to look extremely closely to find them ) Same with the interior. It looks wonderful ( crack on the plastic above the glove box but that is all ) . Overall it is a very nice looking 12 year old used car that has minor wear and tear from age and use. As with all used cars, it is sold as is , where is, with no warranties. The Florida title is in my name. No, nothing wanted in trade.
