This car looks like a show car but the drive and maintenance are as easy as a daily driver as the original engine has been replaced by a Ford 302 Cobra and has power steering and power brakes. It has always been garaged. We fell in love with the beauty and elegance of this XKE in 2013 and have enjoyed it for weekend outings from our Santa Barbara home. We purchased from a friend who had all the work completed in 2011 in Los Angeles under the documented recommendations provided by retired Master Jaguar Technician (35 years), Rick Luszczyk. Here are a few details: -Thomas Top completed the tan new upholstery and matching Top. -Paramount Collision did the body work paint and chrome work -Lyman did the mechanical work -Jaguar paint color "Opalescent Silver Blue" selected as it was the color option from 1961-1968; completed in 2012. http://www.xkedata.com/catalog/colors/ Our friend purchased from Giordano motors June 6, 2011. Giordano acquired the car in 2010 from a mechanic in Arizona who restored it as a passion project. the mechanics at Lyman said that they did a stellar job in the conversion.
