Up for auction is a rare 1979 Supercab F-250 2wd Long Bed This is a good truck to build or use for donor parts for your current build. The rare supercab is in great shape. The interior is super nice with just a small rip in front seat bottom. The cab corners need to be replaced and a small section of floor board on both sides just where you feet are. The rest of the cab is in great shape considering its 40 years old unrestored. The roof is not rusty like most of these trucks are. The doors are not rusty but dented pretty badly. The front fenders and hood are rust free and no damage. The bed is rough with typical wheel well rust and bed sides are spread away from tailgate. Tailgate is pretty rough also. The truck has a 460 automatic that fires right up and shifts thru all the gears. Master cylinder and brakes are new, truck drives and stops but needs a tune up. This is an old truck so it leaks oil like you would imagine but thats all fixable where a truck with the badly rusted roof is not. This truck would be a great start for your build or give you those hard to find parts for your current build.
