Hi this really is a special bike in exceptional Condition please look at the pictures closely as I think you will never find a nicer used RM400 . I recently got this RM400 from the original owner in Los Angeles California . He got the bike in 1980 new and used it as a play bike just riding with his buddies and said later did a few races on it but nothing serious as he said to me he didn’t really like moto x . He said he rode it no more than 15-20 times and it’s sat in the back of his garage for close to 35 years . I didn’t think to much about his story until I got home and had a real good look at the bike and it is in unbelievable condition just take a look at the footrest’s they are like new as is the kickstart lever both these things are always a giveaway to a bikes history and I can see the history on this bike is very short. The bike is as I got it and the original fenders come with the bike . I was tempted to restore it but I think it’s up to the new owner to decide its fate but if you wanted to restore a RM400 you will not find a better candidate than this . No bangs no bad scratches and no damage other than the back wheel has a dented rim just to prove a point she still has her original handlebars and factory stickers on the forks can you believe that ! I put gas in the bike when I got home and she fired right up . She will need a few small jobs doing if you are going to race her like the seat cover needs putting on properly and I have no title for the bike but can do a bill of sale but I can promise you you will not be disappointed with this motorcycle .
