What an amazing sports car/piece of history/investment. This is an original 427 Big Block with the numbers matching engine, numbers matching 4-speed Munice Transmission; 51,000 miles, all gauges work...including the clock! This car starts right up and roars down the highway. Drives just as strong in every gear as it did 50 years ago. These original, numbers matching Big Block 427s are getting harder to find and continue to increase in value each year. This is a rare opportunity to be able to drive and enjoy a beautiful piece of corvette and muscle car history, while you watch the value go up. The paint and interior are in great condition. Newer red paint (2-footer), new carpet, newer seats (no tears, no rips, no cracks in the interior). Interior is has newer black paint and newer seats. This was one of the last 400 1968 models produced. Glass and all chrome trim is in very good to excellent condition. Front bumper has been rechromed. Door gaskets are all in very good condition. Lines and gaps are in very good condition. This is a southern car, kept garaged in North Carolina. I am only selling because we are moving.
