Vehicle Detail
89 Toyota Supra factory turbo and targa top car. Could be a nice car with some tlc! It has ARP head studs, MLS head gasket, 550cc injectors Lexus afm, freshly rebuilt R154 transmission and new Exedy clutch, Apexi safc,Lexus wheels with brand new Mastercraft tires, new stainless 3”exhaust with Magnaflow muffler! It has a new ct26 turbo however I think the gasket is leaking, it also is in desperate need of a professional tune, it’s fouling out plugs! There’s some bondo in the drivers side quarter panel and the targa top that just looks like someone didn’t know what they were doing. I recently lost my job and I don’t have the time or money to get her where she needs to be! PLEASE don’t bid unless you are planning on paying for it! Feel free to ask any questions! Thanks for looking! On Dec-20-18 at 18:00:01 PST, seller added the following information: Clean title in my name! Not salvage or repaired!! Also I’m getting questions about how the car actually runs and the condition of the engine! The engine has no knocks, ticks, rattles at all and the oil is super clean! It does have an exhaust leak where the turbo mounts to the down pipe! It has an Innovate wideband which is showing error code E8 which from what I can understand is an o2 sensor issue! Bad sensor? Idk. Possibly caused by the turbo leak? Idk. It starts and runs smooth since I installed new NGK iridium plugs today however you can tell it’s running rich! I’m no expert but If you want my honest opinion all it needs the turbo gasket replaced and possibly a new o2 sensor and then have a professional tune to get the air/fuel ratio right! No I wouldn’t drive it back to wherever you live until these issues are addressed as you run the risk of actually damaging the engine running an improper tune! Again thanks for looking!
