Here is a perfect Christmas gift, just in time for the holidays. This 1965 VW Bug is everything you can want in a bug. It’s freshly restored, privately owned locally in Southern California for many years, and just extremely cared for….AND it has a SUNROOF! Don’t look any further, this Bug has it all. I purchased it from a private owner, who invested thousands into a full restoration, all while rarely leaving the garage to enjoy: hence his reasoning for selling. So what you can expect is a thorough and thoughtful restoration with no expense spared from an owner who loved this car. You’ll find a completely fresh Sea Blue paint job with incredible quality. All new trim, chrome, weatherstripping, emblems, you’ll find new across the exterior of the car. I’m informed the floors are original, and as you can see, in amazing condition with no rust. The owner states the 27k miles are original, but without proper paperwork, I cannot confirm nor deny. But it would not surprise me, it very well could be. The car was restored to original condition with all proper OEM parts. Even the glass is authentic VW glass, with the exception of the windshield which looks to have been replaced. It’s powered by a completely restored 1600cc 4 cylinder, mated to a 4 speed transmission. Up front, the owner has installed brand new disc brakes which really enhances the overall driving experience. It’s stops very well! The interior is lovely and comfortable. You can see the newer upholstery, carpeting, headliner, door panels, handles, and more. Opening and closing the sunroof is very smooth, and operates perfect. Open the front trunk, and you’ll find it just as fresh and the rest of the car, with the spare tire nestled in. Everything on the car works as it should. It drives remarkable. There’s plenty of power on demand, shifting is smooth and seamless, and handles very well…it’s just phenomenal. I personally added white wall tires to the car, so they are also brand new! The original black California plates make themselves announced, and there is a clean CA title.
