Vehicle Detail

1972 F100 shortbed Ranger. 302/C4 Auto, power steering, power (front disc) brakes, ac pump mounted but system isn’t completed. This is not a nut and bolt restoration, just a VERY well persevered freshened up (by me) classic driver. This F100 truck was one family owned until me. I purchased this pickup out of Mississippi from the original owners grand son. The odometer had 57k miles on it and he assured me, as well as the truck condition that the odometer has not been rolled over. While it still wears it gorgeous original colors-Swiss Aqua/ wimbledon white, the grandson told me it did receive one repaint in 1980. The paint does show 38 years of age character but it shines very well and is often mistaken for newer paint. You'll find super solid sheet metal anywhere you look on this truck. When I disassembled it during the revamp I found that the hardware fasteners that retain all the front sheet metal still had their gold anodized coating from the factory. I've disassembled a lot of these trucks and I've never seen this before, its a testament to how dry this truck has stayed its entire life. It was originally a manual brake/steering truck and was powered by a 360/c6. I swapped in a remanned 302 long block and a firm shifting C4 auto, power is sent to a dana axle with a limited slip traction differential. The interior sports a freshly upholstered folding armrest seat, mint dash pad and a completely freshened gauge cluster. A Retrosound Bluetooth head unit plays the tunes through dash and behind the seat speakers.Everything under the hood is new, The 302 inhales through a vacuum secondary, manual choke 600 Holly and edelbrock duel plane aluminum intake and exhales through ceramic coated BBk shorty headers and a all new duel flowmaster exhaust system. A champion aluminum radiator keeps the engine at 165-170° all the time. Fuel comes from a Under bed relocated fuel tank. The truck gets its stance via djm 3/5 lowering components and rolls on American racing 20x8 and 20x10 gray centered torque thrust wheels with new rubber all around. Power disc brakes and power steering were also added to increase creature comfort. All the steering linkage, steering gear box as well as entire braking system are all new. All that's left for you to do is jump in and enjoy it! Come drive it home or you arrange shipping, I'll assist all I can on my end getting it to and on your transport carrier.Good TN title in my name. I’ve not found one factory wire in the trucks harness anywhere that has been cut or tampered with.
