"All 2013 Tesla Model S sedans are powered by an electric motor and a single-speed transmission, which routes power to the rear wheels. The base Model S offers 235 horsepower and a 40 kWh battery, while more powerful 60 and 85 kWh models have 302 and 362 horsepower, respectively. This is the top-of-the-line 85 kWh Performance model offers 416 horsepower, and Tesla says that the Model S Performance will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 130 mph. The EPA reports that the Model S gets 94/97 mpg equivalent with the 60 kWh battery pack, and offers a driving range of 208 miles. Model S sedans with the 85 kWh battery pack get 88/90 mpg equivalent, and have a range of 265 miles.Reviewers are amazed at the Model S’ instantaneous acceleration, saying that it offers ample power right off the line. One reviewer says that the Model S’ powertrain is so responsive, that not even cars built by Ferrari or Porsche can match it." US News."Acceleration is eerily quiet and incredibly potent. With all torque being immediately available, it's like being shot out of a gun barrel -- with a silencer." Edmunds "It goes beyond the impressive spec: It's the immediate rush of off-the-line acceleration that buries you in the backrest in ways gas-powered cars don't - even if their zero-to-60 times match. This isn't new to us, having experienced it in cars as modest as the Nissan Leaf; the thrill is simply doubled here." Cars.com No more Gas cars for me this is just too much fun. The + version is the performance plus extreme handling package at a cost of $6500. The P85+ handles like a true sports car with improved suspension dynamics for better performance from upgraded air suspension shocks, bushings and stabilizer bars and staggered 21" wheels. The + makes driving fun. “Performance Plus takes one of the world’s best sedans into supercar handling territory, while also improving ride quality and range. After hundreds of iterations affecting every detail of the suspension, our vehicle dynamics team was able to achieve the rare outcome of simultaneously improving performance, comfort and efficiency. In addition to upgraded dampers, bushings, stabilizer bars and tires (Michelin Pilot Sport PS2), the rear tires are 20 mm wider and staggered for improved acceleration on low grip surfaces. Range improves 6 to 12 miles over regular 21” wheels. Requires 21″ wheels, available in Grey or Silver.” Rebuilt title means NO WARRANTY. Tesla has changed their policies recently and will service and sell parts for rebuilt cars. The HV components require a safety check before they will work on them. Please refer to Teslas website: https://www.tesla.com/about/legal#unsupported-salvaged-vehicle-policy As this is an American made car I have had no problem getting it serviced locally. I have the registration that the car was owned by Tesla. The great part of it being owned by Tesla is they replaced components that caused issues with this model. It runs great. I spoke to Tesla and they informed me they replaced the Drive Unit in 2015. The not actual mileage on the title was caused by my broker. I have the title from just 10 days before their document that shows actual mileage. I can provide a photo on request. The fenders hood front bumper cover and corresponding parts were replaced with oem parts. I waited to find the same color so the insides would match and retain the factory corrosion protection. They were still all professionally painted and blended to match perfectly. Detail is very important to me I am very meticulous. I am currently building a full scale WWI airplane from scratch that is going in a museum where I am also a team leader on restoring 2 WWII aircraft for the NAVY. So it is very well cared for. I have not driven it in the rain or snow. No door dings at all only some road rash on the wheels. I will include the repair paint.I love how it drives and it is super comfortable. I just prefer smaller cars, I just purchased BMW I3. And I am out of garage space. It is by itself in the 3rd stall undisturbed. My wife's car is outside in the drive and it is getting cold here she says it needs to go. Shipping to CA or anywhere in the US is easy. Let me know if you need help. I am happy to answer any additional questions or if you would like some additional photos please let me know. 269-492-9800. Tesla's are arguably the best cars ever made. And a rare loaded one. This car is fast, efficient, safe beautiful and fun. If you want a $125,000 super-car for the price of a boring car this is it.
