Vehicle Detail
1999 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT V-10 Engine / 2 Wheel DriveOnly 61,000 Original Miles Near Mint Condition Up for sale is my Dodge Ram 2500 SLT truck, that has only 61,000 ORIGINAL MILES on it ! It has the long 8 foot bed, regular cab, and 2 wheel drive. The engine is the massively powerful V-10 8.0L powerplant, mated to the super reliable automatic transmission. The truck has been garaged it's entire life here in Oregon, and as a result is in near mint condition both cosmetically and mechanically. We have NO road salt here in Oregon, so trucks last a lifetime here, unlike other states that salt their roads like a full kiosk of McDonalds french fries! Oregon is one of the very few states that only use sand on the roads in Winter, to increase tire traction. So if you are looking for a super low mileage, RUST FREE Dodge Ram 2500... then this is the one you are looking for. Please browse the numerous photos below , that show close-up photos of all the body panels, and their pristine condition. The body of the truck has absolutely ZERO dents or dings... it's as clean and straight as the day it came off the showroom floor. Paint is near perfection, with only the most imperceptible imperfections. Sunlight is very weak up here in Oregon most of the year, and hence the reason why my 1999 Dodge Ram has nearly perfect paint. Once again, please look closely at the photos... the truck looks as good or better in person than it does in the photos, just to give you an idea. Speaking of weak sunlight..... the dash on the truck is 100% perfection.... without even one blemish or crack.... 100% crack-free and fade-free. As you know, most Dodge trucks of this year suffer from poor dash condition.... but that is not the case with my particular truck. The interior of the truck looks and smells like new... still has the "new car smell".. and has NEVER been smoked in. The truck has Michelin tires, front and rear. The rear tires and nearly new.. and the front tires have about 30% tread left on them. The truck bed has a spray in bedliner, that is a super high quality material. The bed is also 100% dent-free, as well. In addition, the bed rails are topped by a diamond plate aluminum rail guard. Mechanically, the truck is extremely sound in every area. The massively powerful V-10 engine starts up immediately, idles smoothly, and pulls as strong as a Caterpillar bulldozer. Also, the V-10 acceleration is amazing... propelling the truck forward at an alarming rate of speed. The truck is like a V-10 Dodge Viper, with a bed !! The transmission shifts smoothly, and crisply/ firmly as it should.... feels just like a brand new transmission. Every shift of the transmission is solid, and positive, without a hint of delay or hesitation, ( as one would expect from a 61,000 mile truck). Brakes are strong and even, with no pulls or shimmies. Steering is good, and tracks straight down the road, as it should. All in all, this Dodge Ram 2500 truck is like a time-capsule truck, that has been locked away in a garage, and then revealed to the world 20 years later. The truck was previously owned by a very good family friend, who purchased the truck in 1999 at 65 years old, and is 85 years old now. It was only driven on vacation trips a few times a year during his ownership. For the past 10 years, the truck has sat in the garage, and only driven on a weekly basis to keep it lubed up internally.... so for all intents and purposes, this truck has not seen much service at all, in it's lifetime. The truck definitely could be considered a "holy grail" condition truck. On a scale of 1 to 10....I'd give this truck a 9.9 for mechanical, body, paint, and interior condition. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have about the truck, or to request photos of any areas of the truck that are not already shown. The highest BEST OFFER takes the truck... will not relist the truck for sale again! Thanks! * An immediate deposit of $500 is required upon purchase of the truck, and the remaining balance due within 7 days of purchase. >br>
