Vehicle Detail
Hi there,Thanks for taking a look at my bike! This is a 1992 Suzuki DR350S with less than 10,000 miles on it and lots of new parts. I was planning on keeping this bike for a while so I threw a lot of parts at it (anything listed as "new" below means within the last 5 rides).-New 90/10 tires and new tubes (Front: Goldentyre "Fatty" GT216AA, Rear: Michelin AC-10) -New EBC Clutch/Clutch Cable-New bars-New chain and sprockets-Just did an oil change and valve adjustment-Brake rotors have a ton of material left and the pads still have a good amount of meat left as well.-TM33 Pumper carb from Power Barn w/ easy to adjust fittings (I have the stock CV carb if you want it)-Desert tank (around 5 gallons. Needs a new gas cap since the old one is cracked but the petcock is new and the tank is otherwise good)-Stock gas tank has a standard petcock instead of the frustrating vacuum actuated oneThere are other miscellaneous things as well like the rubber pads that cushion the gas tank and probably some other things I am forgetting... I also have a box of extras and spares for this bike. This bike is factory CA plated (no DMV issues or BS) and shares a lot of its design with the dirt only model the DR350. I tried to make it as dirt capable as possible without compromising it's street-ability too much. This site has a good break down of how these bikes changed year to year as well as the differences between the dual sport and off road only model:http://www.suzukicycles.org/DR-series/DR350.shtmlThis is a great bike with super easy maintenance schedules and torquey enough to just tractor up obstacles. These bikes have a bit of a following and were considered to be ahead of their time in terms of suspension (lots of factory adjustments) and ergonomics. The 6th gear makes it possible to ride at higher speeds on the street without making the bike feel like it's "screaming" and is something you hardly see on modern Japanese dual sports.I will be sad to see this bike go but as I ride more I have found myself enjoying tighter and more technical terrain that just doesn't suit this bike and my riding style anymore. This is the predecessor to the DRZ400 and is a great option for anyone who wants a 6th gear and doesn't mind having to kick a bike over instead of having the magic button. (starts on first kick once you have the technique down) Feel free to message me with any questions. This DR350S is also for sale locally as well and I reserve the right to end the listing (or auction) at any time if the bike sells locally.
