If you love oil cooled Bandits or GSXR's, you'll love this - 2002 Bandit 1200s with 24 original miles. This bike was at a dealership in upstate NY that closed down. At the time of closing, the Bandit hadn't sold, so it went to the owner's daughter who had plans to ride it and use it as her own. The bike was too big for her to safely ride, so the bike sat in heated storage (her finished basement) for 12+ years. Being motorcycle savvy, she stored the bike correctly - on stands with both wheels off the ground, full tank of gas with fuel stabilizer, and she started it a few times a year. The bike is about as perfect as you can imagine. It's completely original (with the exception of the dealer-added crash bars and a new battery). It has all of its original warning stickers, manuals, keys, and nubs on the tires. It has some very light scratching on the front right side of the fairing from a strap while being transported (pictured; blame me for this). If there were a Suzuki Bandit museum, that's where this bike would belong. The bike starts, runs and rides exactly as it should. If you plan to actually ride it, you should replace the tires. They have plenty of tread and no dry rot, but they're ~17 years old at this point. The carbs could use a cleaning, but just running it will likely take care of that. It has a current Vermont registration, which will get you a title in any state. I'd entertain trades for other bikes - a dual sport, something vintage or otherwise interesting, or a newer KTM 350 dirt bike would be great. Also interested in old cars and trucks, or possibly a Bobcat or small excavator/backhoe. Bike is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early.
