This car was purchased as a show car on August 24th, 1979, at Joseph Chevrolet, by Mr. Siglock, and has been maintained as one ever since - always garage-kept, well-maintained and never driven in bad weather. The car has 86,495 extremely-pampered miles. It has an absolutely fabulous, straight-as-an-arrow, ding-free body, with its gorgeous, original paint (code 72L) Corvette Red finish. In 1979, General Motors Corp. sent out a letter stating that some of its cars would develop a chemical paint spotting, that the dealers would fix free of charge. Mr. Siglock did not want his paint messed with, so it still has a few spots today. He still has the factory letter proving this. This car also has its beautiful, original (code 722) Medium Red leather upholstery. The interior looks fantastic - from the seats and the dash to the door panels, headliner and carpet - with the original Corvette floor mats. The undercarriage is just as impressive as the rest of the car. The car has tilt and telescopic steering, power windows, power locks, power steering, power disc brakes and air conditioning that blows ice cold. Everything on this car works exactly as it should.
