Vehicle Detail
Hi, I am selling my 2006 S430 4Matic in the most demanded color Black on Black... I am the third owner of this vehicle and it has been a great car, I've just purchased a S600 so this one has to go. I have done a TON of maintenance to this car and all within the last 15,000-17,000 miles as follows: All 4 new tires with about 15,000 mile on the 80,000 mile all season Nexen Aria AH7 radial tires New front and rear brakes and wear sensors 12,000 miles ago Brand new A/C Compressor and dryer as well as all new belts 10,000 miles ago New Radiator and all new hoses 11,000 miles ago This cars entire air suspension is BRAND NEW!!! All Brand New air shocks front and rear along with new air suspension pump and air shock valve assembly 6,000 miles ago New front left and right drive axles 10,000 miles ago and new outter tie rods ends on both sides.New Battery 7,000 miles ago New MAF sensor 2,000 miles ago. SO, as you can see, I have taken care of the majority of the most expensive fixes there are on these S Class 4matics... The car has 197,200 miles on it, and it runs fantastic... And with all the maintenance that been done to it, even if the engine goes or starts giving you problems, these MB 4.3L (S430) or the 5.0L (S500) engines are ALL OVER eBay with like 50K-75K miles for anywhere from $650-$1000... My guess to R&R the engine if and when it would have troubles is probably like $300-$400 so worst case scenario years down the road you may have to put another $1500 in it, but like I said all the expensive fixes have been done and this car rocks... There are a few little things that need attention that I just never got to because they were not major fixes... Like the Right Side blinker light in the mirror needs replaced, and the sunroof has a mind of its own, so I did not use it, not sure what the deal is on it, may be an easy fix, I just didn;t mess with it. But other than that You should be good to go... As with all used cars, there are some door dings and things, but hey... Its a 12 year old rock solid Awesome looking ride with over $6K worth of maintenance all done within the last 12-18 months... Also, I had the AUX cable port installed on this car in the glove box ($600), like on the 2003-2005 models so you can connect your phone for music...I'm not going to tell you that down the road you may not have an issue here or there with the car, but I will tell you, anything that is of a high dollar repair, I've already completed... E-mail me with any questions... Thanks for looking!!!
