Selling my very nice 1995 Chevy Caprice with the B4U option, this is not a expensive impala ss or a beat to death 9c1 car. I am the third owner with a clean carfax, the first two owners had it for a long time. I purchased this car from friend on mine, after his father passed away near Dallas, Tx. I own 6 B-body type cars already, and no room left so this one is for sale. This car was garaged and maintained over the years with new shocks, brakes, ball joints, spark plug wires, new spark plugs, new fuel pump with sender, idler arm and tie rod ends all with in the last year, but I just installed a few more important maintenance items last week: I installed a new acdelco water pump, new intake gaskets, new acdelco optispark, new timing cover gaskets, new acdelco air conditioner compressor, new hoses, brand new 50k tires, new belt tensioner, new belt and new oil gasket and new oil cooler lines. After pulling the intake, the oil valley of the engine looked great with no sludge , even though it has 190k miles on it so the oil has been changed regular. This car has lots of life left, and can easily run over 300k without any issues. I also installed all door ding chrome strips on both sides and rear bumper of the car. It looks great now with new chrome strips. The B4U OPTION INCLUDED THESE THINGS, THIS CAR has the same options as an IMPALA SS BUT HAS A CAPRICE BADGING: Caprice Classic you see here is unique. It’s best known by its GM RPO code, B4U. It’s not a police car (9C1); it’s not an Impala SS (WX3). It rests somewhere in between those two, sharing the 5.7 LT1 drivetrain, but with a heavy-duty sport suspension and towing package, quick ratio steering. The Caprice Classic LT1/ B4U package included many specific RPO items, like coil springs, shocks, a heavy-duty cooling system with mechanical fan, FE3 sport suspension, and large 235/70/15 rubber (available in white or black side wall), twilight lights, power seats, ect I installed a nice 1995 impala ss center console and made bucket seats.The interior is way above average condition, the grey cloth seats have no rips or stains and are very clean. The door panels are in great shape. and not all broken up, New headliner was installed. the carpet has some minor wear near driver side feet area, the dash is in great shape with some minor very small cracks near the defroster vents. It appears the previous owner had the the power radio antenna replaced with a normal self standing one from a Caprice, but all the wiring for a power antenna is still in place. It runs and driver great, no issues and everything works as it should. engine has no issues. The posi traction still works great. The windshield has no cracks or chips, all the window rollers were replaced and all windows work perfect. I have my own private shop and have been collecting these type of cars for the last 20 years, I retired as a Police Officer a few years ago and enjoy rebuilding these types of car just for fun. I am not a dealer and this is not a typical Ebay POS car. Take a look at my feedback. These old cars will be collector items in 15 yrs and they getting very hard to find in this type of condition.
