The original owner purchased the car new here in Fresno, California, in 1923. It has never left the Fresno area. The car was purchased from the first Ford dealer in Fresno, which began selling cars in 1914. When the dealer sold a new car, he attached a small brass company name plate to the radiator core to advertise his business, and that plate is still attached to this day. After the original owner of the Model T passed, the car was sold to the second owner who began a restoration on it, but did not complete it. The second owner decided to restore a Model A instead and sold the Model T to the third owner, who finished the restoration. The restoration was completed in the early 1970's. This Model T runs and drives exactly as it should. The black lacquer paint has cracks now, but still shows very well. The top and upholstery are in excellent condition. Included in the sale is the original 1923 pink slip as well as the original Ford adjustable wrench and jack.                                                                                                                     Condition                                                                     The car runs and drives exactly as it should. The interior as well as the top are in excellent condition. As mentioned, the black lacquer paint has cracks in it, but the car still shows very well.                                                                                                                                 Terms of Sale                                                                             Please be ready to place a deposit within 48 hours of auction's close. All transactions must be completed within 7 days of the end of auction. Buyer is responsible for any and all title and licensing fees. If you live outside of our state, you are responsible for applicable title and licensing fees in your area as well as the shipping fee to have the car delivered. If the deposit is not received within forty-eight hours (2 business days) or if the sale is not complete within 7 days of the close of the auction, we reserve the right to sell to the next highest bidder or to another qualified buyer. If you are the winning bidder of this auction please follow through with the transaction.
