2001 Saleen S281 Speedster S/C Built # 075Selling my 2001 Saleen S281 Speedster S/C built # 075. Clean California title on hand, only 47,945k miles 5-speed manual transmission. Absolutely beautiful car and truly head turner. I've owned this car for about 7 years and have invested over $18k in upgrades on appearance and performance parts. I have receipts for mostly everything ive spent. Always maintained it with the best oils and fluids at its proper maintanace times. Car is mostly sitting in my garage and is now time for someone else to enjoy. I recently purchased new toy so this one has been stored with very minimal driving for the past year. It has recently gone through an engine build about 3k miles ago done by a very reputable performance shop in California. Car has been dynoed at 437hp on 10 pnds of boost and definitely capable of a lot more power but I have tuned it to my desired power for street friendly use. Engine was built with forged internals including pistons, rods & crankshaft on stock block. Has been cammed with a mild supercharger cam nothing to aggressive. I have replaced the stock Saleen blower with a Vortech V1 S trim straight cut gears makes it a loud whistler. All fuel and air system has been upgraded to supplement the bigger blower. I have also upgraded the stock gears to 4.10 best mod ever, really makes up for the low end torque loss. Has not seen track or any sort of street racing. I mostly like to cruise and enjoy the beautiful sound of that supercharger and blow off valve. Exterior of car is like new with no dents, dings or scratches as is always in my garage and covered when not in use. Interior is is very clean with no stains or tears. I have added original Saleen flofit seats wrapped on genuine Italian leather. Hard to get seats. All electrical components work perfect including windows, locks and cold a/c. Convertible top has been replaced with 03-04 cobra stayfast cloth top not that cheap Gt canvas material. I will try to list all the upgrades done to my car, I am sure I will miss some but feel free to ask any questions. I am open for car viewing and inspections for local buyers and highly encourage to do so. Car is 100% mechanically healthy but it is being sold as is.
