Old school hot rod with lots of patina, all the stainless trim is there. Freshly rebuilt 283 bored .040 over with all new internals, rebuilt later model aluminum powerglide with rebuilt torque convertor. New 21 circuit Haywire wiring harness, aluminum radiator, HEI, rebuilt single wire 63 amp alternator and new front tires. Vehicle runs and drives just fine, does have drum/drum brakes and pulls under hard braking. Chassis and frame are in great shape, body has had not so great floors and lower rear quarters repaired many years ago. Like I say, old school hot rod. 60 MPH = 2900 RPM with the 355 rear axle ratio. This is NOT an LS motor 700 trans car, it is all manual, loud at speed and a hoot to cruise in.Some other items, windshield has a crack and several spots where it was hit by a BB gun. Right side glass is cracked. Windshield wiper motor is not installed but included in sale, speedometer drive gear was damaged so not installed during transmission overhaul.
