The car is a very unique combination comprising (1) a modified 1927 Model T Ford body on a custom-made frame and (2) a power-train comprising a 1990 Corvette ZR-1 LT-5 engine and ZF 6-speed transmission. With the frame supported at the rear by a 1990 Corvette ZR-1 rear axle and suspension and at the front by a dropped 1932 Ford front axle with custom-made suspension. And it is steered with a Schroeder steering gear setup and replica Bugatti Gran Prix steering wheel. And rolls on replica Halibrand kidney-bean knock-off wheels with custom-made aluminum fenders separate from the body. And with the engine compartment having a custom-made aluminum hood with air intakes and many louvers and there being a custom-made stainless-steel radiator shell. And there are custom-made headers and tail pipes of stainless steel. The car is running and needs completion in certain regards including safety harness and providing a door in the left side and right side of the cowl for internal servicing purposes. And the owner/designer/builder (age 83), who named the car “Invictus” with the title of the mind-provoking poem by William Ernest Henley, is not able to continue for health reasons and having to relocate.
