This is our original 1955 Chevrolet Belair 4 door with 69,633 miles. We purchased this car from a 96 yr old woman named Doris in 2017. The car had sat in her son's garage for the last 32 yrs as he promised to restore it. it was her child hood car that her father used to take her on trips with. The woman's son, got in over his head and let the car sit for 32 yrs. We purchased it and got to work. We replaced the entire fuel system from new gas tank filler tube, new tank, new sending unit, sending unit, all new lines, new fuel pump and even new carburetor. We then went thru the ignition system. We replaced the new plugs, wires, new condenser and cleaned the points. Once we got it running we realized it wouldn't stop. So, we installed a new master cylinder, every hard and flexible line on the car are new, and all new wheel cylinders. We adjusted and bled the brakes and now she not only runs, drives but stops too. Lastly, we saw the wiring had been damaged at the driver's door. So, we rewired the entire rear of the car with the correct wiring color as per the Chevrolet diagrams for tail lights, stop lights, and reverse lights. We also installed all new tail light lenses, and chrome bezels since the ones we got with the car were pitted badly. The car still has all its original wheels and even has all bias ply tires on it with original hubcaps. We put all theh trim back where it was supposed to go and thankfully the woman's son cataloged it. So, now we have a running, driving, and stopping car. It cranks with ease. Ebay would not let us post a video of it driving, but we have one available to send. The son and his mother could not find the title. They were moving from Georgia to Texas. We are selling the car with a bill of sale which is all Georgia requires. We did include the VIN number on the listing. The car is being listed as NO RESERVE.
