I am helping sell this absolutely-stunning, super-classy, original-survivor, luxurious, 1985 Mercedes Benz 380 SL Coupe Roadster, to help settle an estate. This car was purchased as a show car in 1985 and has been maintained as one ever since... Always garage-kept, well maintained and never driven in bad weather. The car has 54,750 extremely pampered miles. It has an absolutely fabulous, straight-as-an-arrow, rust and ding-free body and matching hardtop, with its gorgeous, original paint (code 681) Manila Beige finish. It also has its beautiful, original (code 273) Brazil Brown, leather upholstery. The interior looks fantastic - from the seats and the dash, to the door panels, headliner, sill plates and carpet - and still has the original Mercedes floor mats. The original brown Haartz cloth convertible top also looks very good, but it does have two small sewn repairs. The undercarriage is just as impressive as the rest of the car. We had Freon put in the car and the air blew ice cold, but it then leaked off. The Michelin radials look great, however, they have flat spots from sitting. The car starts, runs, drives, shifts, brakes, sounds and handles excellent. This car is an absolute pleasure to drive. It still has its original jack, tools, first-aid kit and spare tire. The entire car is highly detailed and ready for the most discriminating collector, enthusiast or classic car lover. It is truly investment grade.
