PLEASE read and understand the entire ad. PLEASE do not bid if you are not 100% positive you’ll buy it. PLEASE ask questions or inspect it BEFORE you agree to buy it. Camper, cb radio and fire extinguisher are NOT included. The camper is for sale separately on ebay under “truck campers” I will do everything in my power to be honest and forthright in the description, but I am not a mechanic. It’s a FIVE SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION truck with manually engaged 4WD. It has the famed 6.0 V8 engine that runs strong. I bought this truck back in January as a project truck to mount a camper on. My plans have been changed, so the truck is for sale. When I bought the truck my intention was to have it for a while, so I did what was needed. It was a one owner truck with 100,300 miles on it when I got it, in generally decent shape. Undercarriage rust was the major issue, as the gas tank cross member frame was rusted badly, and there were/are other areas of rust. I removed the old cross member and replaced it with a new one from SAFE T CAP. The Truck runs and drives well – The engine does not use or leak any oil - It is inspected until the end of January, 2019 - The body is in good shape with minor scratches - the interior is in good condition no tears, rips, etc, perhaps a bit dirty. All 5 tires are like new - The bed is constructed out of 2X10’s and 4X4 posts – I removed the rear seat in the extended cab area - I had a camper on this truck this past spring/summer and made numerous out of State trips without problem. Since owning it I have had the following work done; Replaced Rear Forward Cross Member – Coated rear frame & components with COROSEAL – Replaced Rear Shocks, Replaced Fuel Pump, Replaced Fuel Lines, New PCV Valve, Plugs and Wires – Tune Up- Replaced Rear Axle Seals – Replaced Parking Brake Shoes – New Rear Rotors – PA State Inspection & Emissions- Added TORKLIFT stabilizers – Cab Supports replaced/repaired – All work was done at Stoney Valley Service Center in Dauphin and I have most receipts. The Bad – There are some rust issues on the frame / undercarriage, it passed safety inspection with no problems but the rust will need controlled at some point – The Engine starts hard, sometimes it takes a second or two for the engine to start. I thought the tune up would fix it but it didn’t - It leaks power steering fluid, it was that way when I got it and I never got around to checking it out - AC does not work – The ABS light is on, the previous owner said there was a problem with the ABS system and he pulled the fuse to disengage the ABS, which is why the light is on. Other than what’s noted above, to the best of my knowledge, everything works and functions as it should. The check engine light is not on, it is safety and emissions inspected. I drive it on a regular basis so mileage will increase slightly. All in all it’s a decent three quarter ton truck at a good price.
