WILLING TO HELP SHIP OR EXPORT Up for sale is a nicely restored 1970 Datsun 240z build date 4/70. This car has been restored, with a nice paint job but not show car quality, all major mechanical components have been replaced which makes it a very nice running and driving car. The car was repainted back to its original color, 115 Blue Metallic, which is fairly uncommon on these cars and looks awesome. This is a very solid, early vin (HLS30-03248) Series 1 car that is poised to appreciate tremendously in the near future, making this car an investment that can be driven. It also has original 240z steel rims, with the very rare factory correct "D" hubcaps found only on 70-71 240z's. This car would be excellent for collectors and enthusiasts a like, and would be a fun car to drive. Body: very solid floors and frame, underside has been undercoated. Interior: the stock seats are somewhat worn in the cushion area but are in great shape otherwise, with no serious tears or rust. Brand new carpet has been installed and sound deadening has been placed over the floors to reduce road noise and heat. All interior plastics are in good shape, with no damage and are still a vibrant black, headliner is tight and doesn't sag in the slightest. Overall, this is a very nice example of an early Datsun that would be an excellent driver car that will also be a good investment in the near future due to the early vin and year of the car. The car runs and drives fine, and brakes as it should, clutch and brakes were bled recently and a fresh oil change was done.
