Vehicle Detail
Truck is a 304, 4 speed, power steering, posi. The truck sat since 1986. I rebuilt the carburetor, bled the brakes, cleaned it, and changed the oil. It runs and drives well. It stops, and it is running off one of the two fuel tanks. Shifts well. Everything seems to work well, horn, lights, turn signals, etc...Tires are D shaped and the entire truck should be gone through before driving on the street. Has a lifter tick, but is firing on all 8 cylinders, revs up well, and idles smoothly. Rust appears to be confined to the bottom rear exterior corners of the bed behind the bumper, and the one spot shown on the right front fender at the lower rear corner. Windshield is cracked. The floors and bed floor are extremely solid with surface rust only. Zero frame or suspension rot. Colorado is extremely kind to steel. Please ask any questions you may have. My sales are honest, hence my 100% seller rating after hundreds of transactions. I will disclose anything about the truck, but can't be held responsible for unasked questions. The truck will be a project for somebody, but should be an easy way into a really great truck. Reserve is low. I'm not looking to get rich here. Just want to make an honest sale to someone who's competent enough to take it the rest of the way. Thanks, Todd On Sep-09-18 at 13:24:55 PDT, seller added the following information: As a result of a question a bidder asked, I've found some rust spots on the inner cowl. I'd personally do a quick patch from underneath and just enjoy the truck. I apologize for missing it initially. I have lowered the reserve considerably to compensate. Thanks. On Sep-16-18 at 13:03:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Reserve is very low for how solid and complete this truck is. A solid weekend of tinkering with this thing and very little money could have it roadworthy. Anything over $2000 is going to take it home. That's right, I'm disclosing that the reserve is $2000. I've got 4 other trucks (3 of which I'm selling as well) and just need space, so I'm willing to take a bit of a loss. Any other time, and I'd probably be the one buying this truck for anything under $4k.Happy bidding. Todd
