1968 Honda CL

1968 Honda CL77 Scrambler. A very nice motorcycle in very good condition. The original speedometer/odometer shows 9,051 miles, but has a broken MPH needle, so the speedometer was replaced with one showing over 20,000 miles. I have the original. The motorcycle is in very original condition but has had the engine replaced at some time in its life. I purchased it out of California, and due to the engine serial number changing, the California DMV assigned a new VIN number to the motorcycle. Paint and chrome are in very good condition for its age, but not perfect. The lower chrome on the shocks has etching, and the rear fender has some very mild pitting. The rims are in good shape but have some minor rust in a couple of places where it sat for years. No dents except a small ding in the front fender. Tank looks great inside and out. I just recently had it tuned and the carbs rebuilt and it has had non ethanol 93 octane premium in it since. I added this to my collection of classic motorcycles about 2 years ago, but am selling about 50 percent of my collection since I don't ride them much. The bike is registered, runs excellent and has new, classic style tires and a new battery.
