Just purchased from a long-term owner, this Karmann Ghia has had excellent care and limited use since going thru a very comprehensive restoration approximately 8 years ago. The previous owner sought out a rust free, unmodified Karmann Ghia for himself and ended up finding this car in South Carolina. It was a nice, complete, rock solid, unmolested original car but needed all that you might expect of a near 50-year-old original.The restoration included a total mechanical refurbishment including tota rebuilding of the motor and transaxle. All suspension, steering, and brakes were serviced and the car was made to run and drive safely and reliably.A complete cosmetic restoration was completed including a bare metal respray after a beautiful body prep resulting in a near show car finish. Rubber and trim were replaced as necessary.Interior was restored with all upholstery and carpet replaced with correct reproduction components. A new retro look AM-FM radio has recently been fitted to have some enjoyable music while cruising this VW.This Volkswagon Karmann Ghia will not disappoint you with its looks or performance it gets more "Thumbs -Up" than a new Ferrari.
