Vehicle Detail
1966 mustang original c code car with a pony interior. When i bought this car last year it was in storage for 14 years.I have been playing with cars for over 50 years. I believe before the car was put in storage the drive train had some work done. The 289 cu in motor has an Edelbrock intake manifold,Holy 4 barrel carburetor, what feels like a mild cam,and what feels like a heavy duty clutch and pressure plate. Also prior to storage it appears to have ball joints, driver and passenger side floor pans, and fuel tank installed. It has an older re-paint job with a couple of digs but still shines like a mirror (see pictures),and bumpers and chrome still have a high luster. The interior looks very nice with a very small hole covered with black tape in the drivers seat. I recently installed a new fuel pump, fuel filters,4 wheel cylinders, and rebuilt the Holy carburetor. While not a 100 point show car,the motor feels strong and it is a great car to take to local car shows and cruise nights where it always gets many on lookers. It's been getting a little difficult to keep up proper maintenance on all my cars lately so i decided to sell a few. This is the second car i am selling--the 1st one was a 1937 Nash coupe. I have set a reasonable reserve on the car and hope the person who wins the bid enjoys the car as much as i have. If sold locally i reserve the right to take the car off auction. I can be reached at 631 588 2404 with any questions you may have . Good luck bidding. On Sep-15-18 at 05:11:02 PDT, seller added the following information: Just lowered the reserve. The high bidder is not to far from the new reserve. in my opinion who ever wins the bid at that price is getting a pretty good deal.
