Up for auction is a project Jeep CJ5. The Jeep project was started by the previous owner. The Jeep has a new wiring kit, fiberglass fenders, dual Flowmaster style mufflers. We were able to start the engine and it sounds healthy (only had it running for a few seconds at a time). The engine has been date coded from the engine stamping and block #s as a mid 60's Chevy factory four barrel 275hp 327. A good foundation to finish per your tastes/needs. Overall the Jeep has a solid frame, does have filler under the primer which is to be expected. Only what you see in the pictures is what we have (missing some driveline, windshield , etc.). We do have a California title for this Jeep. The vehicle is sold as-is and as equipped. However, you are welcome to come see and/or inspect the car before the end of the sale. Payment is due in full within seven days of the end of the auction. All in-state sales and/or California buyers are subject to sales tax, doc. & lic. feed. In California, all vehicles over ten years old are sold miles 'exempt'. Transportation is the responsibility of the buyer.
