This is one of the best looking first generation Z's you will find. I bought this car a three years ago with the intention of swapping in a Chevy V8. After some procrastination, it seemed too nice to molest> So now I have a '71 with a 383 Stroker and I need the space.This 1977 280Z underwent a complete ground up restoration by the previous owner about 20,00 miles ago. The engine and trans were professionally rebuilt. The car was was taken to bare metal with a plastic bead blasting process (better and gentler than sand blasting), primed and painted. The bulky stock bumpers were replaced with a Motorsport aero kit. The car is in excellent mechanical condition, always garaged, and very solid. While not perfect, the paint still presents well. The engine starts up right away and idles smoothly. The automatic trans shifts perfectly, the AC blows cold and everything works like it should - except the the clock.I have some parts (including clutch and brake pedal assembly) I can include if you plan to convert to a manual. However, after owning a three manual Z's, I must say this car drives and performs great with an automatic.
