What a great, fun, reliable car. I am the third owner (first two in North Carolina, 2001 - 2010, 2010-2014, then me), and this car has accumulated 93,000 trouble-free and reliable miles. All Miatas are a blast to own and drive, but the special editions are especially so. This one features British Racing Green, 16-inch polished alloy wheels, Bilstein shocks, a 6-speed manual transmission, stainless-steel scuff plates, and those gorgeous interior Nardi wood accents (steering wheel, gearshift knob, parking brake handle, and console trim), in addition to a beige fabric top with a glass rear window (even has a defroster) and model-specific commemorative floor-mats (covered by WeatherTech protectors). It also comes with the (very cool and very rare) special edition coffee table book, key fobs, and latex sculpture. They're hard to come by these days. I have been meticulous about maintenance, seeking to keep this adult-owned car as nice looking and reliably driving as it has been. Timing belt was done on time, and all fluid changes and other minor maintenance have been done when needed as well. EVERYTHING works. The "minor damage" described in the CarFax (snapshot attached above) was undetectable to me on in a pre-buyer inspection. It apparently involved a brief excursion from the road and into a ditch (see report). It is, undetectable. The car is in exceptionally good condition mechanically and cosmetically. Were I to keep it for another four years, it would need new tires (they're good for another 10,000 or so as-is), a bit of paint touch-up on the lower front spoiler, a little repair of the one little scuff on the driver's side of the top, and not much else. The car also comes with the cockpit cover pictured. It's great for ventilated and shaded parking, to cut down on top up/down cycles. It also comes with a Miata-specific air vent to attach to the top roof rail to get airflow (Miatas not having vent windows). I'm selling only because of downsizing. This car has been garage-kept and completely trouble free and I will be sorry to see it go. $500 deposit, and I'll help with shipping to the extent possible.
