Vehicle Detail
Very clean '03 E39. It is the desirable M Sport package. I've owned this car for 1 1/2 years and love it but can't keep up with it. Since I've owned it I've replaced most of the things that typically go bad in one at this age 3/4 of the window regulators, valve cover, vanos and valley pan gaskets, water pump, fan clutch, clock spring, fuel pump, CD changer, 4 tires in the last year and a new BMW windshield. The Sunroof jammed a couple of months ago so I pulled the fuse. The timing chains have not been serviced. Now the torque converter appears to be bad but still drivable. I figure if it sells for the opening bid amount I'll just about break even for the repairs. If the bidding exceeds $3000 I'll include the roof racks shown and the bike racks. It's a beautiful car that details out nicely but I have too many projects to deal with a torque converter in a daily driver right now.. I've mostly stopped driving it to avoid damaging anything internally. It does have a rebuilt title due to a slide into a curb at one time in the past but was properly repaired. A little more info on the accident that caused the rebuilt title, the owner at the time was making a right hand turn, slid in some gravel and hit the curb on the left rear drivers wheel. The damage was limited to the wheel and the control arms in the rear on that side. It was properly repaired with new parts. There are no problems with the car, it aligns just fine, tracks down the road properly and had no damage to the body. One other item I forgot is that there is a P.S. leak that literally started a few days ago. None of these issues negatively impact the vehicle as to driveability, fun or wow factor. Just don't want to have anybody say I was trying to hide anything. The Ebay provided Autocheck shows a lien on this vehicle; there is NO lien on this vehicle, I paid cash for it and the title is clear and ready for your name.
