Vehicle Detail
Purchased from Vista Motors CPO (Certified Pre Owned) - 11/28/2007 with 23,493 miles. This baby has been lovingly cared for. I have all the warranty service records from Vista BMW including this past year, 2017, the airbags were replaced in the BMW recall. After the BMW warranty expired, Foreign Affairs Motorsports has done all mechanical and cosmetic work. I have been taking all my BMWs to them for almost 20 years now. I have all those records too. Recent work: (over $5,000) was tires, cylinder head gasket, lines, fluids and filters (oil, brake, coolant), sensors, belts, carbon cabin filters, seals, battery, interior headliner, new headlights lenses, front seat backs, Weathertech floor liners, kidney grills, wiper blades and paint. Clean Carfax. No impact damage, no parking lot fender benders. Windshield has been replaced twice from road rock cracks. BMW OEM glass. Your gain, the windshield is crystal clear, not sand blasted or oxidized. The A/C blows icicles. The radio/CD player works great. There is an iPod connector in the glove box. The paint is fresh. In the last two years all control arm bushings, motor mounts, radiator hoses, spark plugs, coolant sensors, thermostat housing, tail light assemblies were replaced. Since 2013 the alternator, brake pads, radiator expansion tank, oil pan gasket, complete a/c evaporator and compressor were replaced. This car had oil changes every 12,000 - 15,000 miles religiously. Mechanically I'd put this car up against any similar year model with 75,000 miles that hasn't done the above work. This baby is tight. There is only one thing not functioning, the left rear window motor. I spent the money to prepare this car for the next 100,000 miles. Then we decided to get a new BMW Sport Wagon to take our dog on road trips. Since I had both a 2008 M3 and a 2016 M4 in the garage, we couldn’t have 2 more cars in the driveway - something had to go. The 2016 M4 lost. Now we need to downsize to just 2 cars. Paying insurance on a third car is not making sense. But my loss is your gain. Offered at $1,999.00 I originally bought this car for my wife. When I met her she was driving a PT Cruiser (a ghastly road casket of a car). She was commuting 100 miles daily round trip on the Florida Turnpike and Sawgrass. That's why the odometer is so high. I was deathly afraid that she’d get t-boned or side swiped by some idiot and I wanted her in a car that I knew was safe. This car is a rolling tank, with enough power and the nimble handling and stopping power of the classic 3 Series car. She credits this car for saving her bacon more than once on car crashes successfully avoided. Driving in South Florida is the Serengeti of cars. Every day some gazelle is getting eaten by the crocodiles. The gazelles that escape alive are driving the safe cars. Maybe you have a teenage driver that you’re concerned survives on these crazy roads. Maybe you need a bargain basement family car or a commuter. Maybe you want to take it to Foreign Affairs Motorsports and mod out a track car. Title in hand and ready to move. Please call Foreign Affairs Motorsports for a mechanical assessment.
