Beautiful 57 Chevy BelAir.Last week I had Trans mounts, motor mounts, trans cooler clamps and oil pan gasket replace and tuned up car. The car was experiencing an acceleration issue from the engine/transmission shifting. No oil leaks. All fixed, runs and sounds great. Completely rewired, every light, switch, gauge, and horn work. Needs windshield wiper motor mounted and hooked up (I have it and it works). New edelbrach carburetor and manifold. Needs rear dash where speakers mount replaced. I have the brand new rear seat arm rests and chrome ashtrays. They just need to be covered and screwed in. The mechanic (not a friend) said the Chevy is definitely a California car underneath, meaning superficial surface rust in a few places. It’s not, it came from Texas. The car had an older restoration. The paint looks beautiful but there are 2-3 places where there’s some paint blemishes. I think it might be from moisture/superficial rust under the paint. The chrome is awesome and none missing.
