I am helping sell this really cool, great sport classic, older gentleman owned, 1976 Mercedes Benz 450 SL convertible, since he is physically beyond his car driving days. The car has been parked in his garage, with 80,935 original miles, for the last 15 years. We pulled it out, put a battery in it and were able to get it started by spraying gas. The motor sounds good, but it would not stay running on its own. It seems to be a fuel or fuel pump problem. The body is in overall good and straight condition - with 25 year old paint, touch-ups and some rust on the lower body. I tried to take pictures of all angles so you can see the entire car. The interior is very good - from the seats and door panels, to the dash, carpet and headliner. The original wheels, chrome, glass and trim are all in good condition. The hard top is in excellent condition and the convertible top looks new. This car has great potential and is a great investment - climbing in value every year.
