Vehicle Detail
I bought this car in 2012 with about 150000 miles from a Buick dealership in New Jersey and I don’t know how many people owned it before me. I put close to 80000 miles since I got it and more than half of that was in the many trips we drove between Pennsylvania and South Florida, were we live now. It is 16 years old and it has 228000 miles. Is a fun car to drive and still very powerful, it has a 2 liter turbo engine (210 HP) and with the six speed manual transmission is a great combination, the handling is fantastic and even with the stiff suspension the ride is good too. At 85 mph on Interstate 95 gives me 30 to 32 MPG, but around town in the lower gears is about 23. It doesn’t smoke at all, the body is solid. I never had an accident with this car and I don’t think there was any before me. The clear coat is peeling off and it shows on the hood, the roof and the trunk lid. There are a few small scratches but nothing serious, you can see the pictures, the interior is in pretty good shape, no rips at all on the leather seats or on the doors, no cracks in the glass etc., look a the pix. The A/C is cold and the heat is hot, the stereo is excellent. At about 175 K I had the tensioners for the distribution chain changed and about 195 K new rear seal in the engine and new clutch, and new rear rotors and no other major work. All of this was done preventively, the car never quit on me and proved to be very reliable. There are a few annoyances that come and go with no pattern. Check engine light is on for a while, and off for a while, right now is off, same thing with the front passenger window, some times works sometimes it doesn’t, I know is not the electric motor, and the fuel gauge never worked and I never bothered with it, I just check the trip odometer to know when to fill up. The headlights are hazed and they should be changed. The tires have about 50000 miles on them and you should consider changing them if you plan any serious driving. I am retired and we don’t use this car any more, and because it was parked for so many months the battery died and wouldn’t take the charge, so I bought a new battery about three weeks ago. It is a car that you can drive as is to go to work every day, or you can put a little money and have a beautiful car that is a lot of fun. The car is now in Lake Worth, Florida and I have a clear Pennsylvania title on hand. Ask all the questions you want, I will answer them the best I can.I can not help with shipping, so you will have to come pick it up.On Aug-06-18 at 18:02:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Track Page Views WithAuctiva's FREE CounterOn Aug-12-18 at 11:01:51 PDT, seller added the following information: I am driving the car every day for errands, so the total miles may be a couple of hundred higher
