1958 Chevrolet Impala 2 door hardtop, 348 cubic inch big block V8 with factory tri-power induction, Factory manual shift three speed transmission. 1958 was the first year for the Impala as well as a one year only body style. This 2 door hardtop is stunning with all of the brightwork over the black exterior and the red interior. An older restoration painted Onyx black with a beautiful correct pattern Red and Gray interior. (The car was originally Arctic white and Cashmere blue two tone with Blue and Gray interior). The engine code shows the correct 1958 348 cubic inch V8, Tri-power induction and manual shift transmission combination. The body, floors and rockers appear solid, the older paint is showing its age with some scratches and blisters but still stunning at 10 feet! The bumpers, grill and stainless all show well but there is some pitting in the chrome side glass trim and wing window assembly’s. It runs great but replacing the bias-ply wide white tires with radials would improve drivability. A great little driver for the local shows or nice summer afternoon cruises.
