In this case it's both. One family ownership-FROM NEW. Just over 35K miles- FROM NEW. Here's the whole story- purchased new in 1979 the car was used sparingly for a few years and about 34,000 miles or so. At that point it was decided that a couple of bike/garage scratches warranted turning this into a car that is simply unbelievable. She received a complete repaint, far superior to anything Ford ever did on 1979. Then, as a labor of love every component was refreshed including the underside and engine compartment being laid out just as the top is. The interior is completely original and excellent. Only NOS parts have ever been used on this Stang.At the point the car was done and fettled, having been driven to some shows and so on, and based on an untimely death it was placed in a ventilated car cocoon for about twenty years until it was unveiled to us to purchase it all its glory. If you see this car you will not believe it. Ford NEVER produced anything that resembled the quality of this car. Its magnificent.Many ownership documents that support the history, including build sheet, original title, owners warranty card and on and on, will be passed along to the next owner. Nothing changed from its original build, this 5.0, first year Fox body is truly a joy to behold. Factory black with a pure 1970's Chamois interior, and of course equipped with a manual trans and power steering and brakes, plus tilt wheel and the original Ford radio.
