Up for auction is an extremely perfect 1965 Plymouth Valiant Signet Coupe. As you can see in the photos it is rust free retaining all of the original sheet metal that was produced in 1965 and is not missing one piece of original trim or stainless which is pretty hard to achieve since these cars were not that popular back then due to the introduction of the Ford Mustang anyway I will not bore you with automotive history. I have taken great strides in trying to create a Plymouth that was quick as well as could turn, and stop with out screwing with the original look of the car so this is the list of everything that has been done.1- Engine- 1974 360 block that was sonic checked magna fluxed, bored 030 over, crank was turn 10/10, factory rods, J&E forged pistons, Speed Pro Moly rings, Crower 292 Hydraulic Cam, Crower Lifters, Crower Push Rods, Melling's high volume oil pump, Factory 1969 Mopar X Heads, if you know anything about Mopar's you know how rare these heads are, Manley tulip stainless steel valves, harden seats, factory X head rockers, Edelbrock 1403-1934 carburetor which in layman's terms is a 550cfm that has been custom calibrated to this motor, Edelbrock torquer 2 intake which works perfectly with the Hurst ProMatic 2 shifter which has been installed.2- 1973 904 Torque Flight Transmission with a fresh TCI street fighter transmission kit with redline clutches and Kevlar bands.3- Custom drive shaft built by Coast Driveline in Ventura CA.4- PST Sway Bars front and back, coil over rear shocks, gas front shocks.5-Brakes are completely rebuilt drums all four corners with new spring kits , Brake shoes and wheel cylinders, Fine Line 8inch power booster and new Bendix master cylinder.6- Sound System- no expense has been spared I am really picky about sound quality so this is what the system consist of. Kenwood KDC-X998 head unit, this is one of there best, Gladiator GLD-5350 five channel amp-made in Italy- PDL 6.5 component speakers also made in Italy, same speakers used in the Ferrari America, CD Audio DDSL712-D2 full competition sub woofer, built in custom enclosure and to cap everything off CD audio 6x9 Mid Base in the rear deck. Nothing has been cut on this vehicle that affects the originality of the car with the exception of the head unit and that looks perfectly straight.7- Paint is a base coat clear coat factory B3 Blue AKA Glacier Blue Metallic using PPG acrylic enamel base, and PPG DCU 2001 Clear8- Seat covers have been redone this was a personal choice and being a UCLA Bruins Alum and the exterior paint color was that close I had the interior upholstered in the colors of the College, carpet is new, headliner is new, dyno mat is under the carpet for road noise door panels are original and uncut.9- tires are Continental Touring LX 225x70x14 sitting on Wheel Vintique Mopar rally's.
