Description: My personal one owner 2001 F350 V10 6.8L crew cab long well base for sale. We're moving to our Florida beach house and no longer need it- I sold my farm property last November where it spent much of its life inside my 40' X80' garage building shown in pics. While it has 186k miles, it has been EXTREMELY WELL MAINTAINED and ready for many years of reliable use. It has the FX4 Off Road 4X4 package and 4WD works fine as it should. Also features the OEM Trailer-towing package with trailer mirrors that are shown in the retracted position, a heavy-duty 2 inch receiver hitch and a Tekonsha electric brake controller. The plastic bed liner was installed when new, and I have a sheet of marine plywood over the bed liner for ease of transporting things that would otherwise slide around on the plastic liner. You just slide the plywood out if you don't like it as its not screwed in place. Also has a nice quality aluminum diamond plate tool box with keys for the locks installed in the truck bed. Interior XL trim package, but I had after-market front split seats with storage console recline installed for added comfort about 6 years ago. Had new Ford OEM XLT aluminum rims put in a few years after buying new. The V-10 Triton gas engine has about 450 lb-ft of torque, 340 hp and pulls very strong- the oil was also just changed two weeks ago. Has transfer case shifter on the floor for 2H, 4H and 4L 2WD and 4WD shift options with manual locking hubs. Nice bright red paint (original color) was repainted about 2 years ago to freshen it up, and I had fender well covers installed at that time to give it a more up to date appearance. There are a few spots where the clear coat is wearing through but not noticeable from more than 5 feet back. Has AM/FM CD stereo unit with sound much better than original Ford unit. People think this truck is much newer than 2001 when they see it. Here is a list of some of the maintenance I've had done in the last couple of years to give you a feel for how I maintain my vehicles- much was done proactively: A new (not rebuilt) transmission 17k miles ago, new exhaust 10k miles ago, 2 brand new Michellen front tires and matching rear tires installed 10k miles ago and have plenty tread left. Rancho shocks and steering stabilizer replaced OEM units a few years ago for smoother ride. New halogen headlight units replaced OEM for better night driving visibility. Both front wheel bearing assemblies replaced in last two years. Front and rear differential oiled changed within last 15 k miles. A/C compressor replaced less than 10k miles ago. Many of the above are once in a lifetime repairs that you'll not ever have to do again in the time you own it. All brakes and rotors, including rear emergency brakes have been replaced in last three years and 20k miles. So, you get the picture, this is a very well maintained '01 F350 V10 6.8L gas crew cab single rear wheel long bed Super Duty truck. I have invested a significant amount to make it look and run like new, as I planned to keep it forever...Buy this used one and save thousands and thousands over the cost of a new one.
