I am helping sell this absolutely-gorgeous, wonderful-classic, original-survivor, 1951 Oldsmobile 98 to help settle an estate. Since purchased new, at the local Oldsmobile dealer, this one-family-owned car has only 24,600 original miles. It has always been garage-kept and well cared for. The car is equipped with its original 303 Rocket V8 engine and 4-speed Hydramatic transmission. This car has not been started in years and I believe the engine is stuck. It has a wonderful, straight, rust-free body - professionally refinished about 40 years ago - and is still looking good today. The overall interior looks good - from the headliner, sun-visors, and floor covering to the dash and door panels - but it does have a few splits and stains in the original upholstery. All of the glass is in excellent condition and all of the windows roll up and down with ease. All of the lights work and the trim is in great condition. The chrome is in overall good condition, with some pitting on the bumpers. The car is rolling on a nice set of wide white-wall tires, with the original full size hubcaps covering the wheels. The undercarriage is just as impressive as the rest of the car. The entire car is nicely detailed and ready for a collector, enthusiast or classic car lover.
