Launched in 1983 Sabre engine was tilted back to shorten the wheelbase and the six-speed was reduced to five-speed to make room for chain drive. The 77 bhp V-4 engine reclines at 10,000 rpm. This street bikes top speed is 132 mph. The Steel frame unbolts in sections for engine removal, the bikes also has racing "slipper clutch" which disconnects under hard breaking to prevent rear wheel hop.
