1974 Volkswagen thing condition: excellent cylinders: 4 cylinders drive: rwd fuel: gas odometer: 79888 paint color: green size: compact title status: clean transmission: manual type: sedan This 1974 VW Thing is an amazing driver! It comes with hard top, soft top, glass windows and years of maintenance records. It was repainted in 2006 with a Honda element Galapagos green (it was originally yellow) the batteries tray area has been replaced with a new panel (welded in) This thing gets a lot of looks and runs beautifully. Currently the windshield wipers do not work motor and linkage are there, looks like the connection at the wiper motor, wires came loose (possible from lowering the front windshield) The engine is a dual port 1600 with a new carb, valves were just adjusted, and new stainless steel side mount exhaust.
