Vehicle Detail
This 1972 Honda was restored about 10 years ago. It is not the correct color but still looks good. It is a very early 1972 as vin shows number 862 bike made. The carb was drained at the time after only about 300 miles were put on it. I just put in fresh gas and it started right up. It was not a concourse restoration. The 1972 model has the updated front shocks which makes it very desirable. It has an aftermarket headlight, battery (New), seat cover, speedo, and carb. The bike had 1800 miles on it before the restoration. The miles showing on the new speedo are since the restoration. It runs and stops great. All the lights and horn works. Brakes stop it like it should with no noise. Motor burns no oil and trans shifts as it should. The chrome is very nice and the handlebars are not bent. Front tire is the original Nitto and about half worn. The rear tire is a newer tire with a little wear but has a cut down the center of the tread all the way around the tire. Doesn't effect the performance of the tire, just a cosmetic thing. Chain has been fresh lubed. A great bike to just ride and enjoy without worrying about scratching up a perfect restored bike. Even though the listing says clear title, there is not one. It will be sold with a "BILL OF SALE" only. This bike is a blast to ride and is great for first time riders with it's semi auto clutch. Perfect to take on the camping trips or just cruise around the neighborhood. Please ask any questions you may have before placing an offer. Their will be 500.00 deposit due within 24 hours of purchase. If deposit is not received within 24 hours, I will consider you unable to pay for the bike and it will be relisted. Balance due within 7 days of purchase. Bike is to be sold AS IS, with no warranty expressed or implied, so study the pictures close. I can help your shipper with loading, or I recommend you call Freight Quote , Justin Meyers at 816-949-6824 or Dennis at 626-242-4842. Either one can ship the bike from 175.00 to 450.00 anywhere in the US. Freight quote is usually cheaper and faster. If you use freight quote, I charge 30.00 for a pallet and the tie downs to secure it to the pallet. Even with the pallet fee, Freight Quote is still cheaper.I will mail the bill of sale, after the bike is paid in full and funds have cleared my bank. I prefer a direct bank wire transfer for the balance. Or you can use pay pal, but I have to charge 3% additional to cover the pay pal fees. Thank you for looking and just message me if you have any question. Or you can call me direct at 801-548-0484 (Steve).
