For sale is my step fathers 2004 Mazda RX-8 in a very rare Yellow with black leather interior. He purchased the car new and took care of it like it was his own child. He was a big car enthusiast and always had nice cars, this was the longest he ever kept a car because in his mind there was no replacement. He had the car detailed once a year, took her in for all of her services and if you look at the seats the passenger seat as well as the back seat might have been sat in a handful of times. Sadly he passed away a little over a year ago and we finally decided it is time to let her go. In less then 100 miles ago we had the the battery, the spark plugs and coils replaced and made sure all the recalls were done. Please know this was all done by the local Mazda dealer. I do have a video walk around and a cold start up of the car, please send me your email and I will send them to you. I am a car enthusiast and if you look at my feedback you will see I have sold quite a few of my cars on eBay as well as on the internet, some of my cars sold have been an Acura NSX, an Audi Allroad, a 53 Rolls Royce, a Jaguar Conv., a Honda S2000, etc. I like to keep my feedback at 100% and want my buyers happy. It is not on the carfax but I believe he was hit in a parking lot in the right rear, I am not positive and unfortunately he is not here to confirm but I am pretty sure the rear bumper, trunk and rear passenger fender was repainted. Again I am not positive but this is my recall it could have been more or less. It could not have been too much as no insurance claim was put in from my recall. While the pictures show the positive let me tell you the negatives so there are no surprises ... keep in mind this is a 2004 car ... she seems nice and the clutch and transmission seem to engage nicely and drive off without any issues. I tested everything in the car and everything is working, the only thing I couldn't test is the heated seats being the weather is very warm so I cannot guarantee they are working though most likely they are but do not hold me to that. The car does come with both keys/remotes, one of them looks new because it was rarely ever used. The negatives and please keep in mind this is coming from a seller who drives very new cars and I looked over the car over pretty closely ... Negatives: Drivers seat bolster is worn (see pic)There are interior scratches by the radio, on the shift knob and glove box (I took a close up pic for you to see)Wheels have road rash/peeling (the later from old age)Paint on the passengers front door, roof and front fender are showing fadingFront nose/hood have paint chipsWiper arm have rust (see pics)Plastic around exhausts is no longer black There are some door dings though for a 2004 car its not too bad Disclaimer: The car is being sold as is, also from my research I believe the reserve is set on the low side.
