This is a newly completed (JUNE 2018) Honda CR500R AF. This is a very clean build....the level of detail is evident throughout. The pictures do not do the bike justice. The engine is a 1995 year in excellent condition. Brand new vertex piston and rings 89.50mm bore (2nd). No cracks,welds or stripped bolts on the case. Includes new kick starter, all new hoses, radiators, clutch, clutch basket, clutch lifter and rod. Clutch and ignition covers, clutch and throttle cables, d.i.d. gold chain and sprockets 14/51, All factory fasteners on both the engine and frame. Keihin 38mm quad vent “Air Stryker” carb jetted 52/175 and r1369n needle for 0-500 sea level. Starts first or second kick hot or cold. New FMF fatty pipe with custom factory crf250r y pipe uses the factory dual exhaust which is very well thought out. The aluminum frame is a low hour(less than 5 hours to be exact) 2006 crf250r. I used the cr500conversion.com billet y piece and air-box mod (uses a 98/99 CR250R air filter)Beautiful welds professionally done. The factor ignition(down tube)and coil (left spar) are placed exactly where Service Honda placed them.Also, I’m including the original steel frame, 2 swing-arms, air-box, fuel tank and dozens of other parts to put it back stock if so desired. All that’s needed is a rear wheel,seat and forks.As most know, these are getting rare. These legendary engines are among the most reliable/most powerful motors that Honda ever made.The 2006-2009 CRF250R frames were among best frames for these conversions and was used in the “service Honda” bikes.The geometry works great, some say even better than the newer 5th gen aluminum frames.The combination is incredible....compact, slender, light, and corners like it's on rails. This particular bike literally looks and performs like it rolled off the showroom floor. Again, the pictures do not do it justice. Less than an hour on bike since the build(jetting and initial break-in only). This is very rare to find a AF CR500R in any condition..... much less like this.
