Vehicle Detail
Up for auction is this 1975 International Scout II which I acquired through an estate sale. For clarification, I do not have a title to this rig. It is being sold with a bill of sale and the last registration that was found in the glove box which is from 2001. This is a NO-RESERVE auction, so high bidder is the new owner! This Scout is in very good condition. There is very little rust that I have found. There is some slight bubbling around both rear wheel wells and the only other location is along the bottom of the removable roof on the drivers side. Other than that it appears to be very solid. The motor is very clean and fires right up and just purrs. It is a factory manual 4 speed transmission which goes through the gears smoothly and the clutch feels good. It has the factory manual front hubs and the 4 wheel drive system seems to work properly. It has the factory rear locking differential and also has a front locker. It is sitting on a set of aluminum rims with Wild Country tires in excellent shape which are studded. There is a complete set of Rancho shocks on it. It has an after market dual exhaust system which was done right. The brakes seem to work fine. All the glass is in great condition, no cracks. The interior seats are in good condition besides some seam splitting and cracks in the drivers side. There appears to have been carpet through-out the rear area that has since been removed leaving some glue/fabric residue. The previous owner had apparently cut an access panel in the rear cargo floor for the fuel tank. There is an aluminum panel made to cover the area. The speedometer/odometer and voltage gauge are the only gauges that appear to be working. All the exterior lighting works. It has a pair of heavy duty front and rear bumpers mounted. The headlight rings are missing. This is a very solid Scout and I believe the new owner will be very happy with it. Please ask any and all questions you may have! Again, this is being sold with NO title, only bill of sale and last registration I could find. Please see the pictures below and also this is a link to a walk around video I posted on Youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BuhitES0qbE Auction terms are as follows: Bidders with zero or negative feedback MUST contact me prior to placing a bid as I reserve the right to cancel your bid otherwise. This is an As-Is, Where-Is sale so please ask any and all questions you may have! The Scout is located at my home in Colville, Washington and it will be the new owners responsibility to arrange shipping or pick up in a timely manner. A $500 non-refundable deposit via PayPal is due within 48 hours of auction ending. The balance is due within 7 days. Due to high Paypal fees, acceptable forms of payment for the balance is via Bank Transfer, Cashiers Check or Cash ONLY. I have sold several vehicles here on ebay with excellent feedback and wish to keep it that way so bid with confidence and GOOD LUCK! It's not an active link. Sorry for the confusion! On Jul-18-18 at 06:20:20 PDT, seller added the following information: Just want to clarify that the Scout is being sold with bill of sale only. I do not have time right now to devote to this rig and that is why I am selling it. The only paperwork that will come with it is a bill of sale from me, a registration that was in the glove box from years ago and I can also include the bill of sale I received when I purchased it, which is hand written on a piece of paper. If this concerns you, I'm sorry. The estate sale was not some professional auction or anything like that. Just a family selling off some relatives items. So estate sell was used loosely here. Thanks for all the interest.
