Description: 2004 Volvo S60R Body Style: 4D Sedan VIN: YV1RH52Y242328251 Mileage: 107,567 Color: Black Thank you for viewing this auction for my 2004 Volvo S60R. Vehicle has been involved in an accident on 3/29/2018 in which I was rear-ended (at approximately ~15mph) while at a near stand-still at a red light. The vehicle has been deemed a total loss by the insurance company and a salvage title has been issued on the vehicle. The vehicle starts and is drivable as the damage is related to rear aesthetics and impact bar/absorber. All functionality of the vehicle from an engine and internal electronics standpoint operates as intended. Damages on the body include the rear bumper, impact bar, absorber, trunk lid and driver’s side taillight. Reason for insurance company deeming the vehicle as a total loss primarily due to costs associated primarily with labor (estimated @ 30 hours for body labor). A quick ebay search suggests that majority/all of replacement parts can be sourced at a relatively minimal cost from ebay (used). Ideal buyer would be one with expertise in body and frame expertise for purposes of mitigating costs related to labor. Can provide repair quote provided by body shop upon request for assessed damages. Additional thought would be to dismantle the vehicle and sell via parts as the S60R has been heavily modified with performance parts (predominately from www.IPDUSA.com) which would yield relatively good value given that modifications have been with high quality after-market parts. See list below with details on purchase date/price. The vehicle is an estimated ~390HP AWD will all the modifications and ECU flash. Has been meticulously cared for and I have been struggling with whether to list this vehicle for sale or to pursue a rebuilt title. Hoping that the right buyer would opt to repair the rear-end damage and care for the vehicle as well as I have.
