Vehicle Detail

One would be hard pressed to find a better example of this model. It's very close to original condition. The exceptions are Hagon shocks, a repainted tank, and anti-sump check valve. There are only 9,501 miles on the odometer. This was Triumph's last gasp at competing with the Japanese superbikes. It has disc brakes front and rear and an electric starter. It has the stock timing and was recently tuned by the prior owner, who has more experience with this model than almost anyone. That included timing, valve adjustment, carb synchcronization, oil and filter change and the anti-sump check valve on the oil tank. It has a new Yuasa battery, new tires, new rear master brake cylinder, Hagon shocks, and new rear brake pads. The front and rear master brake cylinders have been flushed and bled. I have the front brakes pads but haven't installed them. Everything works on this bike. That includes the instruments, brakes, electric starter, and, most importantly, the engine. It has a recent state inspection so all of the lights, turn signals etc.function properly. The bike starts and runs fine. Believe it or not, it leaks no oil.. and I mean zero! This bike has not been messed with over the years, appears to have been well maintained over the years, and is very close to stock. You won't find a better example in basically original condition. Try and find another like it! If you want this, it's not going to be a bargain because it will be almost impossible to find something as good or better. Don't bid on this this if you don't have a bidding history or aren't serious. It wastes both of our time. On Jul-05-18 at 06:32:36 PDT, seller added the following information: Just a few things that I should have mentioned before: Just to emphasize the originality of the bike, the tail light lens and all turn signal lenses have "England" stamped on them and the rims have "Made in England" stamped on them. The bike includes a new-old-stock owners manual and a reprinted shop manual. It also includes all of the delivery paperwork from the original purchase! I've bought a lot of antique bikes and none had this paperwork, so it's super rare. Included are the service voucher booklet, payment receipt, sales receipt from Bob's Cycle shop in Sayre, PA, Distributors Warranty, and Basic Assembly and Initial Service Instructions. Also included is an original sales brochure which is the best sales brochure I've ever seen As you can see from the photos, it keeps folding out with several photos of the Trident and when fully unfolded, has a calendar with a photo of a different Triumph for each month dating back to the beginning of the company. Lowered the reserve price for the re-listing.
